Which stations do you think BOB has the potential to take away audience from? KXPT is the obvious one since their ratings exploded after the demise of JACK. KOMP went up as well post-JACK.
BOB shares some 90s songs MIX plays. I also heard some songs SUNNY plays, I suppose you could say today's mainstream ACs have become female targeted variety hits stations. Also, BOB plays some 70s/80s that can be heard on sister station KKLZ.
I know 107.9 improved their signal awhile ago. Are they still at any disadvantage compared to other FM stations.

Heck..lots of markets can't even support one alternative station.
Does anybody notice any differences between JACK and BOB? All that I noticed is that Bob doesn't have the snarky personality type Jack had, the liners are more straight forward. The music is very similar.

I always remembered Jack being uptempo all the time. Ballads were almost non-existent.
Bob seems to mix in some some real sleepy songs. Yesterday I heard Jimmy Buffet "Come Monday" and thought iccccckkkk! Other songs that put the brakes on and screech the station to a stop are: Poco's Crazy Love, Don Henley's Heart Of The Matter, Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse Of The Heart, etc.
