Entravision could switch 92.7 to the old KJUL format. Their Spanish pop format faces a grim future with La Kalle in the market. In fact, they were doing poorly even before La Kalle. I know Entravision owns English language stations in Sacramento so it wouldn't be the first. This could be a great opportunity for them.
If any of the AMs switched to standards they could instantly get some ratings. They would never do it, but KDWN would make a good standards station. They already have a bunch of old folks listening. Pete Moss would make a great standards jock, he could tell stories about every song and artist. Tru Hawkins would be good too, in fact he did some parttime work at KJUL.
