I waited a couple of days to answer in case someone else saw what I saw, but seeing no other answers:

The reference to the dead end street in Culver City. Remember when Pirate Radio first went on the air and they claimed to be broadcasting from a warehouse in Culver City (when they were, in actuality, at the old KIQQ studios at 6430 Sunset)?

They went so far as to spray paint a big "X" across the shipping/receiving door of a small warehouse unit on Lindblade east of Higuera (I believe it was being used by Westwood One as storage; it was around the corner from their then-headuqarters on Washington Blvd.).<P ID="signature">______________

Yes I do remember that.

Seems history repeats itself as Jack says they broadcast from the dumpy studio in Culver City. Do they? I thought they were with the other CBS'rs on Wilshire, but I haven't really been paying attention.

KCBS-FM is co-located with KROQ at the KHJ transmitter site on Venice Blvd.<P ID="signature">______________
