Thanks for the link, but what does it really say in non-corporate language? I thought I would at least find out SOMETHING in the FAQ's like the following:
"How is FREE FM different from other talk formats?
FREE FM represents an attitude that just doesn't exist on today's radio dial. Its programming goes beyond the opinionated political and public affairs programs that dominate traditional AM talk stations, and takes the current generation of talk stations to new heights through a combination of fresh voices and additional entertainment options."
OK. What kind of attitude? What is the programming really like? etc. So many words - so little said. (The question told me more than the answer.) The only thing I could get was that it is a talk format that is NOT local in a market that is screaming for local. (At least the 105.3 flop had some local. Maybe CBS can do it better.)
So, please excuse my ignorance also, but I can only stomach just so much corporate cr-- stuff.
