WCNN-680 once was All News, but I think only for a short time. When I moved to Atlanta in late 1988 it was All News, but flipped to something else (I'm thinking Music of Your Life or something similar) within a month or two or three. I agree, Atlanta needs an All News station. Trying to get news/weather/traffic is near impossible whenever WSB is in sports programming. And that other station on 640 doesn't even count...are they still on the air? WCNN has the second best AM signal in town, seems to me like the best place for the format. All News is a very expensive format. Big money would have to be spent to do it right. It would take time. So...I doubt it'll ever happen. I like "680 News" in Toronto. Check them out at
