Depending upon how you measure (demo or total numbers) Fox is #1 in 18-49 and CBS #1 in total viewers. There isn't a giant difference between the numbers in each category except for CW (which really isn't a network).
But that isn't what I was referring to. IMHO, Fox has the worst lineup of shows on any of the four networks. Those that aren't outright silly tend to be disgusting and the show that brought them their ratings winner, American Idol, are just teen popularity contests. With the single exception of Bones I don't find anything of value on Fox.

I'm unsure why you felt you had to remind me that Fox network and Fox News are two different businesses. Other than I find each virtually worthless I do, in fact, know the difference and didn't reference Fox News in my post. Perhaps it is you being defensive in your comment.
In other news, I'm not sure whether Fox News is #1 overall or not since I could not find direct comparisons between them and the broadcast network news. But it is probably impossible to compare them directly in any event since Fox News consists of a substantial amount of opinion and broadcast news hardly any.
