It's already been launched since last year. It's available on Dish, Directv and some cable outlets.

They wouldn't have to touch Fuel if they'd just flip the FCS channels (Which I believe has MORE penetration than Fuel does if I'm not mistaken)...

FCS is not available on any DBS service (Dish Network, DirecTV).

Now word is circulating that Fox Sports Media Group will host an upfront presentation to advertisers in New York during the first week of March, when it will detail the plans for Fox Sports 1, which will be converted from Speed Channel, and Fox Sports 2, which will take the mantle from action sports proponent Fuel. According to Reuters, the meeting will also delineate Fox’s plans for its 22 regional sports networks, as well as programming on Fox Broadcast, which next February will include Super Bowl XLVIII from New Jersey. Sources familiar with Fox's plans confirm the meeting's time frame.

A pretty good article about what's going on behind the moves with the new sports channels.

Are they putting Sky Sports News on Fox Sports 1 or 2?

I really hope so. With the junk that is Sportscenter these days and Fox Soccer's studio programming being pretty poor, Sky Sports is about the only form of sports highlight show I can take these days.

It would be nice of Dish and DIRECTV move ESPN Deoportes to the uppper chioce xtra packages since they do alot of soccer games as well but its part of the DIRECTV and Dish MAS spanish package.

At least Fox Sports is on the West Coast because you noticed last night Lindsay and Bam had to stay extra and do extra Sportscenters and for 11pm West Coast Sportscenter Studio had to be used and Stan was all by himself with Neil Everett off and what should have done is sent out 3 Anchors to the west Coast or used ESPU Studio for it's 8pm to 1am Sportscenter or better yet build a a Sportscenter Studio at Disney World in Orlando then won't have to worry about been Snowed in.

They're also talking Regis Philbin out of retirement to host a daily show on FS1. REGIS!

Reminder: An upfront presentation to advertisers in which the new networks will be unveiled is scheduled for today.

It's official now, children. Prepare thyself...

Sports Live Chris Myers and Brian Kenny because MLB Network has a contract with Fox host of it need to be the host if it wants to complete with Sportscenter.

So what is the new MLB contract that is talked about in the news article? Its not the one on FOX broadcast is it? Don't need more Joe Buck and Tim McCarver play by play. I would like to see NBCSN get a MLB deal then can have Bob Costas doing the broadcast.

Fang's Bites is a good website, period. ;)

@Ken: I heard many of Fox's regular season MLB games are migrating to FS1 starting next year; Fox will still air a dozen, but they'll likely all be in primetime. Also, doesn't Bob Costas call an occasional game on MLB Network?

Yes but works for NBC/NBCSP/MLB Network.
7pm version of Fox Sports Live and it's own Crew calling MLB Games to. Also Overtime on Sunday's in NFL Season for Scores/Highlights of the day and it's own version Baesball Tonight.
