Frank Berry: September 11 2023.

His calling sent him around the world. Not just to Tampa and ABQ, but to Ecuador of all places. He was given that gift, to go serve other people in the broadcast and engineering industry. Not an easy thing to do, especially pre-Internet. But Frank had his hands, and made sure that the technical difficulties were solved, and the transmitter maintenance was done.

May God bring his family comfort during this tough time. Are there any plans for a funeral service over in Michigan?

He requested no funeral. His family will have a private celebration of life for him.

My condolences to Frank's family and friends, wishing you the best at this time of grieving and remembrance.
Thanks for all that Frank contributed to this forum with the hope that it will continue to flourish, leaving a lasting legacy.

If God was in need of a damn good Engineer in heaven, he has one now!

My condolences to Frank Berry's family and friends, may you take comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain, and now in a better place.

So sorry to read this. Frank was a class act and a true gentleman. Hopefully, this board will continue in the ways that Frank wanted to run it.

I've read many stories about Frank, I always admired him from afar I suppose. He seemed like a radio God to me, someone that knew everything but was not condescending and was always helpful. Like I said before, class act.

One day, a couple years ago I got a message from him titled, "Threatened legal action". Let me tell you cats, I was devastated. I was afraid to read what kind of bans he was gonna put on me. I opened the message and a lawyer had sent him a letter about a post I made. Frank wasn't mad but explained why he deleted my post and made it clear that I should not give my personal opinions of certain people. I apologized for inconveniencing him, stood by what I said in my post but understood his situation. And his one simple class act reply ended it, I won't ever reveal what he said, but Frank was the best.

Didn’t see this until now but definitely RIP Frank and condolences to his friends and family. I have to appreciate that Frank revived and continued these message boards after the RI era ended as we knew it and continued Doug Fleming’s legacy as well.

Hearing of Frank's death was a shock. I was hoping he'd succeed in his fight against cancer. So sorry to hear of his passing. Like many here said, he was a class guy, especially for keeping this forum alive. RIP Frank.

Thanks so much for everything, Frank. I say this because I believe your spirit is reading it. Hope it feels good to have left that body that was so uncooperative. But thank you for your contributions to the mortal world that we all got to benefit from. Much love.

Dave B.
