Or, Frank Shyershh, ash he shesh it.
I don't know if the spelling is correct - he seems to have disappeared from the KIRO site. I heard about 30 minutes of his filling in for Doris today and honestly don't know whether to laugh or cry. But either way, I'll try to be kind.
In those few moments, when he was ranting about the gov. negotiating with unions rather than the legislature doing it, he made his disgust with Gregoire/Democrats/Liberals very evident but he does it in a passive/aggressive way that to the casual listener would be pretty harmless. Then, innocent as pie, he asks for "our" opinions but making it quite obvious that A) there's no way you'll change his thinking; B) he might take 3 or 4 brief calls because he spent 45 minutes yakking, spots, etc.; and C) he's an editorial cartoonist.
And THAT'S where I had to chuckle. Has anyone on this board seen his work as an "editorial cartoonist"? My gawd, it's completely juvenile. When he first started annoying KIRO listeners years back and announcing himself as an "editorial cartoonist" it's as if he believes he's the Second Coming of Herb Block. Uhhhh, Frank? Check yerself, mah man. What you do would be what I'd expect from a high school junior - at best. The cartoons are in these teeny little weeklies - freebies like North Kitsap Gazette - and if he gets paid at all, my guess is it's in free pencils or wi-fi use while in the building.
I had a few buddies at KBSG and mention his name? Eye rolling and deep sighs - as in "can you believe that guy?"
Frank, I don't think you're the devil incarnate. But you are, at the very best, a hopeless amateur "cartoonist" and any editorial opinion expressed is very limp and try one time to be a bit more balanced. [EDIT]you are, at heart, a man who would cheer loudly if a tragedy befell a WA state democrat. There's a darkness in you that not all the drawing paper and talk topics on earth can hide.
[EDIT-personal attack]
