I remember when I was back at WKXP in Benton doing the morning show with my then wife. We were told to never mention on-air that we were married for some unknown reason. However, when people asked us in person if we were a couple, we would never deny it. A few listeners told us that we should have mentioned our marriage on the air, because it would have added a dimension to the show that was lacking.
