I've been listening since 5:40 and haven't heard any calls just the 94.7Fresh branding. I hope they DON'T use HFS for the calls but those dyslexic morons probably will.

I see that Fresh is calling Wash FM washed up. This time they can't use Lite as their isn't a station branded as Lite.

A blurb on AllAccess says the calls are WTGB. I googled it and got www.947theglobe.com If you follow the link it takes you to the new website for 94.7 Fresh-FM.

Now who wants to make some sense of this?

No call letters in the CBS Radio player - just "94.7 Fresh FM"...

Anyone listening to AM 1580? Are they identifying as WHFS-AM yet? And furthermore, would CBS wind up burying the legendary WTGB calls on AM 1580?

Oh look, this Fresh station's got "commercial free Mondays". Wasn't there a station in this area that pulled that stunt before?

The station is still WTGB until the Federal Cookie Company gives them the new call letters.

1580 has been ID'ing as WHFS-AM for some time now. I doubt there will EVER be any sense made of a CBS decision and /or action. Still no mention,not a whisper,of WLZL's tanked ratings. I think the oblivious suits haven't noticed El Zol's listeners have gone home due to lack of work but then again most never showed up on a census to begin with. Disconnection with reality is not a new thing for CBS.
