Frosty, Heidi, and Frank Major Announcement

Well SandyG if the economy keeps going like it has, talk station KLSX itself may disappear and reappear as a syndicated music station. But I tend to agree either way the end of the line is here for FHF.

Wonder how SABMiller felt about Frank Kramer bad mouting the quality of their product on yesterdays show. For some reason Kramer forgot or didn't care about Miller being a big KLXS advertiser. Kudos to someone finally standing up for what they believe in. I am sure that CBS has sponsors standing in line to replace Miller.

How is this on-air bore-fest able to continue amidst all the industrywide cutbacks?

Unreal.

Or is LA radio that pathetic?

LA is that pathetic.

How about Bryan Suits and Kennedy?
How about Armstrong and Ghetty?
How about Tim Conway?
How about Dennis Prager?
How about Michael Medved?
What about the Jesus show?
What about Hugh Hewitt?
What about Dennis Miller?

Who on earth listens to these shows and why does management keep them on the air? IMO the best are Tom Leykis and John and Ken. They fully understand that Radio is an entertainment medium and they do entertain.

I give you some of your list; however there are people who listen to talk radio for ideas information. Dennis Prager is a bit too pedantic and light on entertainment; John and Ken are too abrasive and phony for my tastes. But I have no real desire to see them kicked off the air, just my own radio.

However Tom Leykis! A total waste of the power used to energize the transmitter. No I don’t really want him fired but given the economy if I were management I’d be casting an eye in his direction.

Frosty's actually a pretty decent broadcaster. The other two? Not so much. Attempting to listen to them cackling at their own jokes gets old very quickly.

Uh oh! Gosh I hope they don't lose their jobs! All of them, especially Heidi, have been very kind to me! Would love to do a talk show. Already have the show casted, recorded and ready to go.

I have actually heard an improvement in their show lately. It sounds like they are actually doing show-prep and putting an ounce of enthusiasm in their job. It is probably still too little too late.

Well, if the job becomes available then I'm ready to go. Got the talk show and crew all set! Hey, a Latin broadcaster in a Latin dominant market with an Arbitron rated #1 track record. What a concept? I'll even do the show naked if I don't hit #1.
