Tim Conway Jr had Frosty Stillwell on his show during the 9:00pm hour last night and apparently he will be on Sunday from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. A few things to consider:
1 - First of all I'm not 100% sure it was Frosty Stillwell since it could have been Brian David Whitman, but it sure sounded like him
2 - I always though that he probably out of the triplets had the most potential for his own show, political or not since he fit the mold that program directors like to have (eg respect management), whereas Heidi and certainly Frank were loose canons. I don't know why KABC didn't keep him. The old biddies on KABC would have loved him on his own political show.
3 - KFI may be auditioning him and will see how the response is before giving him another shot
I always thought it was sort of disingenious for FHF to keep saying that Frosty was retiring from radio. He clearly was not. He was merely leaving the team since he didn't think there was any program director in radio today (particularly in today's economy) that would pay a three man team (which I think is true) and secondly he doesn't believe there is any shot of making a profit doing podcasts (which I also believe) so the guy was not retiring from radio he was leaving the team to look for a job. So if it really is the real Frosty Stillwell then that "retirement" sure was short.
