If you are located “east of the Rockies”, you might be able to have some fun with the different delays stations use on talk programs.
Set your AM presets in the following order:
1 – 1040 (WHO) or 1140 (WRVA)
2 – 1510 (WLAC)
3 – 890 (WLS)
4 – 1100 (WTAM)
5 – 840 (WHAS)
6 – 1210 (WPHT)
7 – 1190 (WOWO)
8 – 810 (WGY)
Then, wait until about 2 – 2:30 AM (ET).
Tune on preset 1.
Listen for a catchy phrase that you would like to hear repeated.
Quickly hit preset 2 (listen), then 3 (listen), then 4 (listen), …etc. (You may have to wait a few seconds when you get to preset 8 (WGY has a longgg delay.))
If you find more stations that fit in, please revise the list - with the station’s delay in proper order, of course!
Have fun…
