Please enlighten me if you know why the national FX cable channel broadcasts in WIDESCREEN on their SD channel, but in 4:3 on their HD channel ---- for the same movie at the same time....
I watch the FX network on Time Warner Cable in North Texas.
I think it odd that I can get a movie in 5.1 on their HD channel, but not in WIDESCREEN, when the same movie is presented in WIDESCREEN on their SD channel, at the same time.
I have contacted FX today through their general E-mail link on their Contact Page, so I have not yet heard back from them.
Time Warner Cable Tech support confirmed that they did not have any tech problems at Time Warner with the FX HD signal, and that they were simply broadcasting what FX was delivering to them.
