Gallagher on WBLF

A talk consultant told me Gallagher was being "groomed" as the next Limbaugh.
Sean Hannity came along and beat him to it.
Plus, Glenn Beck got his act together and appears to be soaring past everybody.

Ugh. Righties would have been in big trouble if Gallagher would have ended up on Limbaugh's throne.

I like Hannity's TV show, but I have to turn his radio show off sometimes ... usually when he tries to have a conversation with a commie/Nazi that won't answer his questions and wants to spin or change the subject. It makes a good point about the commie/Nazis but it's *really* boring radio.

Beck is well on his way to taking the Limbaugh seat. He works very hard and does a ton of homework. I presume he never sleeps. Barring him saying something ridiculously bad on air, him having another skeleton in his closet that he hasn't yet been candid about, or the government actually doing some of the anti-free speech things Beck claims they will (would we be surprised if they did?), Beck's the heir apparent.

great - another former drug addict to spin paranoid fantasies for the entertainment of the sheeple who avidly listen.
something to look forward to!

It's good to hear a voice on local radio I haven't heard since I moved here from upstate New York. I do grow tired of listening to Mike Gallagher after awhile--as well as any radio talk show--but I will listen for a few weeks or so until he presents a subject in which I have no interest. I will say I appreciate the somewhat equal choices we listeners have between WBLF and WRSC: The so-called conservatives primarily on WBLF and the more liberal types (except for Beck) on WRSC for the most part. I find Kevin and Pat informative and entertaining. I think their show is growing in content and "food for thought topics" quite nicely. They're both pros and obviously do their homework. I appreciate that. The best I can add to this: When I grow tired of a particular show or don't care for the content on a particular day I just turn the radio off or turn the dial to find something else. I'll decide on how I feel about the affairs of our planet discussed on the radio or TV. I listen or watch to find out what's going on in our world. ;)
