And how fast will they end up going from theaters (If they make it there) to video?

You know that "I Dream Of Jeannie", "Get Smart", "The Jeffersons", "The Green Hornet", "The Simpsons" and the sequel to "The X-Files" are also headed to the big screen as well. Let's put it this way: They'll still milk a classic TV series for all its worth.

Hmmm...makes one wonder if they'll turn "Babes" into a big screen feature. Mo'nique anyone?

Uuugggghhhh....Mo'nique! There's probably nobody more loud or annoying than her.

I would they've been talking about making a "Dallas" movie for years, at least the 5-6 years. Larry Hagman said himself that he would like to see Bruce Willis in the role of J.R. Ewing. And by reading the article above, I see the city of Dallas pining real hard to get the filmakers to shoot the movie there, which would be a great idea, because it add authenticity to the film. I wonder why Fox, and not Warner Brothers (who inheirited the Lorimar-Telepictures library), is producing this film, unless WB is owning a stake in the film. I don't know how successful this "Dallas" movie will be, but I'll watch, since I'm a fan of the show.

As for Kotter, Ice Cube's films do great money-wise, and I'm sure it will make a nice profit because a lot of the films he produces through his company are smaller-budgeted (about $5-10 million), which means he might use a lot of unknowns in the roles of the Sweathogs. And since Gabe Kaplan will be involved in the project, I think the movie's quality will be fine, as long as it sticks to the original spirit of the TV show.

As Johnathan Harris was fond of saying in "Lost In Space" "Spare Me The Pain!"

It actually would be interesting to an updated WKRP. I'm sure the writers would have a field day with what's going on with the radio biz today. Poke fun at CC, Entercom, CBS radio, XM, Sirius, FCC, etc. I wonder when we'll be seeing "The Rockford Files", "Remington Steele", "Happy Days", "Laverne & Shirley", "Mork & Mindy", "Moonlighting", "Sanford & Son", & "Space:1999" on the big screen? Actually, I'd be willing to pay 8 bucks to see Moonbase Alpha on the big screen in Dolby sound.<P ID="signature">______________

You may have spoken too soon about that clunker:They been talking about turning that one into a big screen feature for some time too.
