You're not the only one who wants to throw the radio out the window at the sound of Ed Baxter's voice. He is the master of speculation and of inappropriate editorialization (the latter of which he readily agrees he does when he should not.) His ego sounds pretty large on the radio too. The amount of speculation he does in the early hours of a breaking news story is totally off the charts. My question is, popular with whom?!
Sorry, I know this thread is supposed to be about Gil Gross. As for Gil, I can barely contain my excitement he is coming to the Bay Area. He has to be one of the hardest working people in broadcasting, not to mention pleasant and entertaining too. KGO has played its ace. As I mentioned on another thread, Gil's politics are a good match to the vacuum left by Pete Wilson. Interesting that they both hailed from the Midwest at one time.
