Giving up the HD Ghost

I have a '92 Honda Accord with 225K miles. The radio still works great (and so does the car). I was thinking of replacing it with an HD radio but I didn't because there are no HD2 formats that I like in my area. I also have an '04 Honda Accord. The radio had to be replaced last year because the display failed. Luckily the radio was still under warranty, it was 2 months away from not being under warranty. On a side note there was an e-skip opening during the time the display was blank, so it was really challenging to DX not knowing what frequency I was tuned to (and drive at the same time).

Well, if your existing car radio has a line-in jack (probably labelled "Auxilliary" or "AUX" or something like that on the control panel) you can get a 12VDC/110VAC power convertor from probably any auto-parts shoppe, and try to find an F1HD to stick under the dashboard. Then if you can get far enough into the dashboard to find to the car's aerial plug-in, split it off so it connects to the car radio *and* the F-connector on back of the F1HD. Works great for me!
