GLENN BECK HITS L.A. MONDAY!!!

The less Glenn Beck is discussed, not to mention heard, the better - for everyone.

But fortunately, everyone doesn't share your opinion (and it IS an opinion).
I like Glenn Beck, very cool to listen to, and not as conservative as you might think.

And just a little background. Glenn was DJ and PD out in the east coast and also did a stunt at FLZ (yes, that's right, The Power Pig).

Give Glenn a break. I think most people in LA will warm up to him.

He does do a good show, but I don't know how much audience is left with Handel doing so well, even in 12+, which would of course include the 25-54 audience that Beck is #1 per capita in nationally.

On that station, especially combined with a mish-mash of English and Spanish-language programming, most people in LA will go "Glenn who?".

It could only be a possibly different story if he was on KFI or something, but there's no place for him there, even delayed.

I would suspect that the signing of G. Beck might be the begining of the demise of a spanish format on that Station.

On the other hand, I believe there is a strong conservative constituent in the Spanish community. So, perhaps it's not so unusual after all.

I'm guessing Beck would mostly be incompatible with the station, but that's just a gut feeling.

Even if the station flipped to English, it has already tried English talk and failed miserably.

Miami Cubans are very conservative. Everywhere else, especially in California, Hispanics are stongly Democratic.

In Orange County, they tend to be more conservative though. I also believe that the new KLAA will eventually speak mostly Ingles, with a smattering of Espanol .

It was pretty much that way until 3pm today. Glenn Beck was on till noon, followed by three 1-hour live yet brokered programs, all in English. Tonight after the Angel game should prove to be some interesting listening.
