Good Souding CHR's

Question:

Did WKQI change some things around or something?
I noticed no mixes on Friday's now and the Saturday night mix sounds a tad different from what it used to sound like (but this is judging only 40 minutes into it, so..). I'm not sure what goes on on Sunday nights right now, but last time I checked they also mixed on Sunday nights....

Anyway, if they do dubstep from 3-5am Sunday morning, kudos to them for being interesting and different.

Never mind - WKQI is sounding great in the mix - as usual.

I know another CHR in Tenn. its called Star 102.1 and its in Pegion Force, TN or Gaitlinburg, TN around that area. They sound alright lot of older CHR, this was when I was their 2 years ago.

Here's the mixshow times on 9-5-5:
Fridays: 11pm-5am ET
Saturdays: 10pm-4am (used to be from 8pm-4am)
Sundays: 10pm-2am

Though, I noticed there was no "Weekend Rollout" mix on Friday, surprisingly...

Star 102.1 is WWST the CHR station in Knoxville. They are ok, but have always been adult leaning & heavy on recurrents (a lot of this is due to the fact that their owners, Journal, also own the market's rhythmic CHR, WKHT Hot 104.5, which is leaning more mainstream lately.) Hot is also beating Star in the ratings even though Star has a much bigger signal. Anyway, Journal should be pleased because both of their Knoxville CHRs have been posting good numbers lately.
