K-Love might be on KMVK 107.5 pretty soonYou think Audacy sells Jack
KNUS 98.7 was a decent Top 40 station back in the 1970’s. Unfortunately it had a somewhat deficient signal as it wasn’t on one of the Cedar Hill sticks at the time.I don't see a KNUS-FM, but there is a news/talk station on AM using KNUS.
I don’t think EMF will disrupt the current Air1 on 101.7. They do want both formats wherever they go.Is there a scenario that anyone can foresee where EMF just flips current KYDA from "worship music" Air one to K-LOVE? I suspect based on their actions in other markets they will want both formats in the Metroplex.
KAWA does well in my car at various places throughout the Metroplex.KAWA is pretty scratchy in northern Tarrant county ~ on radios in cars and trucks I have access to..Wondering if anyone has the same experience?
KMVK is indeed on a Cedar Hill stick, but is a Class C1, unlike the other full C’s at CH. The reduced power @ 575 meters HAAT makes it equivalent to what 100kw @ 300 meters would cover.I just looked..why wouldn't KMVK be on the array on Cedar Hill. They look to be near KDFW and KHKS yet only have 16,500 watts?
Where was the KNOK 107.5 stick when Earl G. Graves owned them? Did Granumn move them to Cedar Hill when KNOK/KDLZ moved to 100.3 and became KJMZ?KAWA does well in my car at various places throughout the Metroplex.

I forget exactly where the 107.5 transmitter was located in the 1970s, but I do recall it was closer to Fort Worth with 100kw on a rather short tower. Several DFW FMs had similar short stick facilities at the time which made them noticeably deficient from the much better Cedar Hill signals. The signal differences were minor if using a good receiver but quite noticeable on cheap portables.Where was the KNOK 107.5 stick when Earl G. Graves owned them?
I think the move to Cedar Hill happened in the late 1980s, probably about the same time as the KMEZ frequency swap.Did Granumn move them to Cedar Hill when KNOK/KDLZ moved to 100.3 and became KJMZ?
As mentioned, it is indeed on Cedar Hill, but KISX Whitehouse/Tyler is one of the obstacles that prohibits more power for La Grande.I just looked..why wouldn't KMVK be on the array on Cedar Hill. They look to be near KDFW and KHKS yet only have 16,500 watts?

Neither of these two exist on 107.1 anymore, correct? The old KTLR is now licensed to Kerens, as 106.9 The Ranch. What is the old 107.1 in Waco these days, Huff? Is that the Hewitt licensed facility? There were two second adjacent class As that helped keep 107.5 hamstrung - 107.1/Terrell and 107.1/Waco.
Correct, KWBU moved to 103.3 in 2000, but by then too many other roadblocks were in place, most notably the 107.9 that was dropped in to Gainesville and then moved down to Lewisville.Neither of these two exist on 107.1 anymore, correct? 98.7 The Spot just played KC & The Sunshine Band earlierOkay, so I’m not going crazy - I could have sworn Spot seems to be playing more 70s than KLUV did.
If I recall, when KOOL/Phoenix was re-branded, they bumped up the 70s rotation a tad at the expense of 80s while leaving the 90s unchanged.
