WJSP-FM 88.1 has just filed a license to cover for an big upgrade to its signal from class C1 to class C. I guess it will be two weeks before we know how much more of the Atlanta market will get a signal.

Hmmm... I had thought they had already done that. About six months ago I noticed reception on the west side of I-285. I even occasionally got an HD lock. If the upgrade has not happened, then I really look forward to it. It would be nice to have an alternative to WABE.
WABE is owned by the Atlanta Board of Education (hence the call letters), and is not owned by nor an affiliate of GPB. Compare with the relationship between WPBA Channel 30 and WGTV Channel 8. Both are PBS but WPBA is owned by ABE and WGTV by GPB.What is exactly wrong with WABE? I personally prefer them over GPB radio considering we all live in Metro Atlanta.

Trusty- Does Warm Springs carry basically the same content that WNGU carries out of Dahlonega?
