Great Intros that really "grab" you

Digging a little deeper, I remember feeling disappointed by the Angels, Love Me Now. The "B" side of My Boyfriend's Back, Love Me Now exploded with an exciting "Shooby doo wah wha" intro. Once the lead vocals kicked in, it just fell flat.

You can add to this list all songs with vocal starts. Chief among those would be "Eleanor Rigby" by the Beatles and "Fat Bottomed Girls" by Queen. I wonder if they sometimes receive less airplay since they have no lead-in. Raspberries' bigger hits definitely belong on this list!

"Magic" - Pilot
"Come Back" - J. Geils Band -- (equally great 'out-tro' on this one!)
"Shine a Little Love" - ELO
"Right Back Where We Started From" - Maxine Nightingale
"Hey Deanie" - Shaun Cassidy
"Union of the Snake" - Duran Duran
"The Rockford Files" - Mike Post
"Gemini Dream" - Moody Blues
"You Made Me Believe in Magic" - Bay City Rollers
"Whatever Gets You Through the Night" - John Lennon & Elton John
"Don't Wanna Fall in Love" - Jane Child
"Love in the Shadows" - Neil Sedaka
"Let's Go" - Cars
"Your Love is Driving Me Crazy" - Sammy Hagar
"Island Girl" - Elton John
"Incense & Peppermints" - Strawberry Alarm Clock
"Get Used to It" - Roger Voudouris
"Cover Me" - Bruce Springsteen
"Never Can Say Goodbye" - Gloria Gaynor
"Tired of Toein' the Line" - Rocky Burnette
"Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)" - Edison Lighthouse
"Wham Bam" - Silver
"Fame" - Irene Cara
