Greater Media Game Plan Re: 97.5 FM, 950 AM?

Also, at some point, it bodes well for GM to explore moving the signal from 97.5 to 97.3 a la WRNB - that way it is exactly between WRDW and WOGL. (Is there anything complex from preventing this transaction?)

GM would have done that when they moved from Trenton to Philadelphia if they could have.

WXKW is a 50,000 watt Class B on 97.3 licensed to Millville, transmitting from just 50 miles South-East of Philly.
(I know that when I'm out by Lincoln Financial Field or the Wachovia Center, I can still get WXKW)

WRVV from Harrisburg also becomes a factor to the West, especially west of Pottstown.

Well, I'll give you this: If Greater Media ever decides to move its sports format to FM, watch how fast CBS blows up WYSP or even WOGL to move the town's sports leader to FM. You watch.

If Greater Media puts a hot talk/sports hybrid on 97.5, do they move Preston & Steve there and go with music in the morning on MMR?

theres an idea...theat would piss radio1045 off tho...b/c this is theres biggest few hours of the day

1045 gets good numbers 24/7, the formats are totally different although 1045 may cross some tunes with MMR and YSP the majority of the music cannot be heard on 94.1 or 93.3, Panic at the Disco, Paramore, MCR, Jimmy Eat World, Sonic Youth, Social Distortion and a thousand others, that is why 1045 will survive its the OTHER white meat....

How about something unique? KYOU/San Francisco (A CBS station) is all-podcasts. Or, how about "Brokered 950AM"? The weekend mornings already are, save MAYBE Jay Lamont.
