So what will happen to that station? Air America will go off the air which may also affect Green 960's schedule. Are they going to change formats or does Clear Channel have an idea?

I have a hunch there will be a lot more Karel coming...

Clear Channel could triple its 960 ratings with Peter B and Karel on. In fact, just dump Dial Global. Hartmann, Schultz, and Miller are old school Democrats, constantly bashing the Republicans.

I think that a standards format would be appropriate in many markets, not just the Bay area. The only thing is taht should such a format ever be resurrected, they should also add tunes my what I'll call "modern crooners" (i.e. Harry Connick Jr, Michael Buble, Diana Krall) and even throw in some world music by artists such as Celtic Woman and Secret Garden and some lighter jazz, both traditional as well as modern styles as well.Henry Ochs said:musicman3355 said:So what will happen to that station? I'd say that Clear Channel should bring back the old KABL Adult Standards format.

Is 960 still on the air? I say bring back KABL!
After discovering that "Timeless Cool" is going to go satellite, maybe the "new KABL" could pick it up! Now regarding sound quality, maybe a transmission standard (ANALOG of course!) which could be adopted which would provide better fidelity.radio dx said:Is 960 still on the air? I say bring back KABL!
