Al Timiter said:
When you said that it was the gayest thing on radio ever...then you meant the "happiest" thing on radio ever?

No I did not. I meant it was lame. But anything relating to homosexual never crossed my mind. By the way Al, are you gay and offended by it or straight and offended by it?

Now I ask, is the word "straight" an acceptable term to describe heterosexuals? If so, by that logic, the term "crooked" would be acceptable to describe gays right?

I am sure you can see where this is going. It is one example of how silly things have gotten in this country and how much sillier they are going to get.

Ok this is getting old. Do we really have to bring the subject of the word "gay" back up?
If so then here you go...as quoted from www.dictionary.com

Main Entry: 1gay
Pronunciation: \ˈgā\
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French gai, of Germanic origin; akin to Old High German gāhi quick, sudden
Date: 14th century
1 a: happily excited : merry <in a gay mood> b: keenly alive and exuberant : having or inducing high spirits <a bird's gay spring song>
2 a: bright, lively <gay sunny meadows> b: brilliant in color
3: given to social pleasures; also : licentious
4 a: homosexual <gay men> b: of, relating to, or used by homosexuals <the gay rights movement> <a gay bar>

Now everyone can make their own determination of the use of the word and move on by either contacting the person of offense via e-mail or pm, or they can move onto the next post.

Now onto Grego...
I think the best thing for the Blitz would be to keep something local, if you could get someone with AM show experience to come in and do the show it would benefit the Blitz since they are already locally oriented. I know they have Ronnie hosting the show now but I think we need a guy similar to Grego to host the show. Grego knew where the line was and knew how far to step over that line which gave the show it's edge. That's my opinion...thoughts?

Can you say......SUZY WAUD!!!!!!! Now that would be local, and it woul dget everyone's attention.

Suzy Waud. Now that ain't a bad suggestion! I wouldn't mind hearing her on the air again.

I agree they need another guy in there like Grego. They also need to put Thick Rick back in there. That guy did so much funny stuff with sound. Many times, he made the show.

Grego is indeed OUT. This was posted on AllAccess.com yesterday @ 9:08am by Hal Fish himself....
