It is hard to explain to a little kid that the reason they cannot see Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus is because some corporate SOB is out to make money, and the only reason that she is coming in the first place is to fulfill that corporate SOB's desire to make money.
Then there are the parents that will take out a fourth mortgage to pay $10,000 for a pair of tickets, because they will go to any extreme to make their children happy. That is another topic for another time.
They will do anything for a quick buck. Disney did something right in extending the run of this movie. They now need to make amends for the concert ticket snafu by sending Cyrus out for another tour, this time with FREE admission.
I am not a parent (not yet married), but I do know that what Disney has been doing is plain wrong. They are a corporation and they do have to make money, but there is a line that should not be crossed...and Disney crosses it every day.

The same goes for the High School Musical BS too.
flashback said:an arena can sell out a Hana Montana concert without selling huge chunks to licensed scalpers this point she is popular enough.
so if disney made that stipulation an arena should have no reason to refuse.
besides disney is a big enough orporation that an arena owner would be foolish to cross.in the long run it could cost them a lot of money from losing future concert revenues.
this goes beyond hana montana. if recording stars did set limits on how many tickets could be sold to one person scalpers would go out of business.of course they would have to care about their fans ,not just a big paycheck.

OhReally? said:You. Are. Wrong. This is what happens people play "cards" like this. They look like a fool. :![]()
