Hannity moves to 970

How wouldn't more local talk help Genesis make money? Dude, if you offer programming that doesn't suck, and the alternative does... your numbers are gonna go up. That's the nature of the biz, ese. All I'm saying is, there's no local talk here on the weekdays (schnitt doesn't count)... someone should take advantage of this... dig? There is a fairly large chunk of audience that would tune in just to hear local talk... even if it was poorly done, cuz we don't have any.I know its cheaper (and safer) to pipe in syndicated crap, but it doesn't necessarily get better ratings. If they can bring their numbers up with some decent programming, they will look much more appealing to potential advertisers. And plus I'd love to see a little guy steal some of FLA's numbers.Of course, as I said earlier, it'll never happen... but it COULD be done.Cedric
 
Just want to add that Schnitt's Miami affiliate WIOD plays Hannity tape delayed 7-10 followed by Phil Hendrie live 10-1. Phil is retiring from radio in June so FLA replacing him isn't much of a surprise.
