Has the FAN gotten clueless?

This has nothing to do with listener suggestions.

The Preakness is the 2nd leg of the horse racing Triple Crown -- Big Brown won the Kentucky Derby 2 weeks earlier. The 3rd leg is the Belmont Stakes at Belmont Park on 6/7.

The Sybase Classic is the New York-area stop on the women's pro golf tour. Annika Sorenstam used the Sybase Classic to announce her upcoming retirement.

Well then it just solidifies the name of this thread. The FAN picks and chooses what it wants to cover unfortuantely. Who really cares about the WNBA or women's sports in general? I rather cover the horse races than hearing about WNBA scores. They should stick to the real sports and covering them all.

¿And how are women's sports not real sports? ¿What exactly is a real sport? I personally hate basketball with every fibre of my being, but if a sporting event happens, it should be reported, men's, women's or mixed for that matter.

I guess the Fan is finally starting to pay attention to chuckydoll's cards and letters.

Last night on the 8:20 PM Sports Flash, the announcer not only reported on the Indy 500 and Danica Patrick's finish, but the score of the New York Liberty's game in the WNBA, as well! And as an added bonus, they threw in the score of the local MLS game, too!

Way to go, WFAN! No place to go but up!
