I got mine from Circuit City. Regular "bunny-ears" are useless this far away from Houston. With the smart antenna I can now recieve 2, 2.2, 2.3, 3, 8, 8.2, 8.3,11,13,.2 & .3, 14 and it's 4 subchannels, 20, 26, 39, 45, 47, 55, 57, 61, and 67. Damned if I know what it takes to get 49 on the channel scan. Perhaps an intervention from God.

Where are you located at???
CW, I'm in Austin County. I use an amplified antenna on my TV that allows me to pick up more stations. Performing a channel scan typically gets me 24-26 stations. I did some adjustments to the antenna, and ended up getting "Qubo" on 49.2 but an undetectable signal at 49.1. Also am recieving a very unwatchable signal at 49.3 that reads out as "ION Life". Man, if you could tell me what I need to do to increase 49's strength to my location, I'd be grateful. I sure would like to catch an old "Mama's Family" episode once in a while.

You're getting the KPXB, then, but just barely. ION on x.1, qubo on x.2, IONLife on x.3 and Worship on x.4 is the standard ION DTV lineup.

REMEMBER, KPXB-DT is on RF 5 !!! Lowband DTV sucks and the normal TV antenna has barely any gain on lowband channels (if any)...once they move to the vacated channel that KTRK-DT is on now, you'll be able to get them fine...
Its a shame they are letting the 52-69 range go....TV should have fought to keep it and let VHF high go instead....TV on UHF is sooo much better...
To get 49.1 (which remember is RF 5!!), you would need a monster cut to channel 5 TV antenna...forget an amp..all they do on lowband is increase the NOISE....but come Feb 09, it wont matter anymore :)
