Took a trip down to the Old Pueblo today in the new vehicle (2020 Toyota Sienna w/HD radio) and just for kicks had it tuned to 93.3 HD (or 92.7 if you prefer). Signal was perfect until reaching Red Rock when it began wiffing and was totally dead by the time we reached Marana. Didn't try any of the Tucson stations because our turn-around was Silverbell Road and had the radio off on the way back so as not to disturb the newly acquired rescue dog.
I noted to the wifey that I began traveling that road (long before it was I-10) back in the late 1940's and it is just as ugly a trip today as it was back then (except back then the highway took you through Casa Grande and Eloy and you could stop for a cold A-1 brewski in either town).
