As long as it’s more options and not just rebroadcasts TUDN radio. Which didn’t make sence to have them on 4 different stations at one time.Expect some changes on the 106.5 HD Options.
Tejano on HD2, your favorite TUDN on HD3, Amor Celestial on HD4, This is temporary, until HD is back on KLTN and KAMA.Not very important, but KOVE HD2 is still Tejano. Now displaying KOVE TEJANO, also the delay from FM to HD is gone.
Great to hear! Signal sounds great everywhere I’ve been.HD on KOVE is permanent.
I second this. The audio and signal quality are excellent.Great to hear! Signal sounds great everywhere I’ve been.
It’s off now. I noticed that it happened a few months ago and they had the old PTYs but it didn’t last longKHMX has HD2 and HD3 this afternoon, but both are silent.
I noticed at least 10 minutes of dead air on Sunday night, as well. RDS and HD info was still updating song info, etc correctly during the dead air. Wonder what’s going on there…Speaking of KHMX, they had a good hour of dead air when I was flipping around presets at lunch. The other Audacy properties were all on the air.
RDS can be different from what is being transmitted in some odd ways.I noticed at least 10 minutes of dead air on Sunday night, as well. RDS and HD info was still updating song info, etc correctly during the dead air. Wonder what’s going on there…
I've seen that RDS anomaly happen on music stations that run major league sports. My guess is since they can't run the sports on their stream, they just feed the stream the regular music log programming and the serial data feed from that feeds the RDS encoder.RDS can be different from what is being transmitted in some odd ways.
I haven’t checked this lately, but for a lengthy time KUHF HD-2 had an interesting problem with its musical readouts. The station uses the Classical 24 service on its HD-2, and the radio display shows the name, composer, and performer of the various works, as provided by the syndicated feed.
From 10am to noon the station breaks away from Classical 24 and airs Performance Today. However, during those two hours, the display would continue to show whatever was being played on the Classical 24 feed. Very odd, as it revealed the data was essentially tied to Classical 24, regardless of what was actually being aired.
Apparently HD originated program info is called PAD, or Program Associated Data.

During spot breaks you probably see a Lawyer name and phone number LOL about being in a wreck.
This doesn’t have anything to do with Houston. I don’t think I’ve had this HD at night here
