HD Radio updates

Multiple Houston HD stations are currently off

92.9 KKBQ

94.5 KTBZ

97.9 KBXX

99.1 KODA (I caught it completely off the air for a minute)

104.1 KRBE
Believe it’s time for annual maintenance at Senior Road, so they’re all on backup. Audacy has HD on all of their backup transmitters, I don’t think the others do.

Really helped out tropos this morning

Didn't see the responses above re: annual maintenance, sure sounded like it! 104.1 and 99.1 weren't even listenable in the Galleria area on Saturday afternoon.

99.1 seemed like the weakest signal. I'm further north of there and was still able to listen to them.

I did notice a weaker signal from 104 than usual up here on the north side. Not sure about KODA, I can't stomach their content for more than a minute or so. 😂

Wish KKQB would put KTHT back on HD-3 I missed being able to pick up a good classic country station.

Only when driving from and to my place in Lavaca county 103.9.

KTHT HD is off again as of this morning. KPFT was completely off the air for a bit early this afternoon but is back now.

93Q HD still sounds pretty bad.

The audio quality sounds fine by me. To be fair I didn’t listen on nice speakers or anything. I did hear it when it sounded worse though.

Also KAMA HD2 and HD4 are silent. Most likely temporary.

Some one needs to tell the guys at Audacy that KLOL HD2 needs a little more BASS. I flip between KLTN HD3 and KLOL HD2 and you can tell the sound difference.

Even KLOL HD1 has a little more BASS than KLOL HD2.

Can any AM-HD stations be heard by listeners in Houston, maybe wintertime at night?

I used to sometimes get KRLD HD but they're off. I've gotten KFLC around sunset before. I have gotten KTSB before. I am further north of Houston though. I get WTAW to flash a lot but getting it to lock is rare. No way you'll get 1490 out of Austin.
