Radioandrecords.com is reporting that the HD Alliance, a group represented by many of the major broadcasting corporations, will soon be rolling out programming on HD channels in the top 12 markets, which would include Boston. Springfield and Hartford are also slated to be a part of this initial rollout. The full story is here...

My question is, If there is some interesting programming available, would you seek out an HD reciever to listen to it or go to (or stick with) satellite?
The possibilities are endless. A few ideas I'd like to see would include...
1955-1969 oldies (or All Lost 45's!) an WODS-HD.
Classic Alternative on WFNX-HD.
New releases and local rock on WBCN-HD.
Dance on WXKS-FM/HD,
Old School Hip-Hop or new "Mix Tape" stuff on WJMN-HD.
Deep Cuts and older classic rock on WZLX-HD.
Smooth Jazz or Chill music on WMJX-HD
The old Star 93.7 Rhythmic AC format on WMKK-HD
All Heavy Metal on WAAF-HD
A folk-based AAA format on WBOS-HD
Female skewed talk on WTKK-HD
Classic Country on WKLB-HD
WILD's old classic soul format on WILD-FM/HD
Alternate NPR programming on WBUR-HD
