HDRadio users in Sandy Eggo?

I can see the KSOQ transmitter in San Marcos -- I live in Oceanside 92056. Direct line .... and my HDRadio cannot lock on the signal! 5.8 screaming what watts of HDRadio power.

Chris, how well do you get 92.3 from LA where you are? There may be so much LA signal coming in that it rides right over the low-power HD sidebands on 92.1. I know that's the case where my relatives are in Solana Beach, on a north-facing hillside...KLOS, at 100+ miles, comes in far better than KUSS about 10 miles away.

And the fun is only just starting. Let's give 'em all 10dB more and see who has the most money for lawyers!

Hey there Scott. 92.3 comes in hot ... Solid where I live. I get more HDRadio from LA than Sandy Eggo (at home).

Well, there you go - 92.3's analog signal is probably wiping out KSOQ's tiny HD signal, even within view of the tower...

Indeed...92.3 really knocks at KSQO entirely in certain parts of Scripps Ranch where we seem to have a "perfect path" to L.A....and we are 12 miles inland to boot. I even got a bit of a lock (didn't last long) on The Sound 100.3 using a simple dipole.

Attn Chris:

93.3 HD2 is The Hot Spot
94.1 HD2 is the new location of Pride Radio

Thanks David. the three other people besides us (and engineers) will appreciate that.
