HEIDI HARRIS OUT AT KDWN

KDWN's morning show with Alan Stock is a joke. Until 7 it's the best(?) of Alan Stock, then he goes live. Today he played a very embarrassing replay of Monday night's city council candidate debate. The first segment he screwed up the introductions so bad they had to correct him. He played it anyway. Losing Heidi was bad enough, but he's an insult.

Didn't hear it. Guess he doesn't like getting up early unlike many las Vegans. He will miss a good part of the morning commute listeners.

It's really ironic that Heidi and Stock were once teamed up doing mornings at KXNT.

KXNT....Thats another enigma.

I wish Heidi luck...Not my politics but a very nice lady, no giant ego either.

Jerry Gordon Jack B. Show Salem radio network (foremerly KNEWS(KNUU) (at one time a real radio station)

Norm has added intrigue to the Harris affair...maybe she will go to TV.

.. is she becoming the female version of LA's John Ziegler (burned bridges at stations all over the USA)?

Apparently she has a show. Salespeople at KXNT are already on the streets selling her. Don't know if she is going to replace the new news duo of Gillespie and Tannenbaum or if she will replace Wall in afternoons.

Guess KDWN did not have much of a "non-compete" clause.

If she goes mornings at KXNT she will be up against Stock, afternoons Savage. My bet would be afternoons because KXNT has had weak ratings against Savage. (Of course both stations have weak ratings against everthing else on the radio.)

I wonder if they have her signed, or if they are "test marketing" her to advertisers?

I can't wait to hear her back on. Hope it's the morning, but I'll take the trouble at any time of the day.

One day Norm has an article about how hard Heidi Harris is to work with...the next day an article about how hard Dan Ball at CH 3 was to work with. Seems to be a lot of on air ego in Las Vegas media market. (and from what I hear both articles were kind to the people being written about)

Heidi Harris has said "bad things" about local columnists concerning driving and imbibing, so factor that in.

Heidi is scheduled at Barnes and Noble (Women's History Month book event) March 31, 1pm, 2191 N. Rainbow Blvd. I'm sure she'd like to see you.

Heidi rox The Radio Box, more-than many other jox.
From her lox to her sox, she's the fox with the vox.
They nox?
A pox!
She wox.
And soon...she mox.

First Heidi, and this morning there is a brokered show talking about permanently being in the place where Kim Komando has been heard. This station has gone down the toilet. Adios KDWN
