Well I had recorded an aircheck of K-Jazz from the Jones network and cannot figure out which DJ this is I'm hearing. This is around 6 pm - 7 pm. What was the lineup for JRN in March 2008?

Chris
But if it was on a weekend it would have been different.
On Saturday late afternoon it might have been John Evans or Steve Michaels. Kenny Cortes used to handle Sundays, but at one time I swear he was on for entire weekends!

Wonder what ever happened with Laurie's gig at smoothlounge.com?
Too bad she's resorted to playing pathetic BA playlists in Denver.
AC Tones said:Laurie does a GREAT job, and not just "on the air." She is a BRILLIANT programmer. Laurie and her former Jones Radio Network colleagues, Steve Hibbard and Cheri Marquart, were tremendous influences on my programming strategy. And you all know how I feel about Jones' former jocks, like Keith Riker and the aforementioned John Evans. Smooth, conversational delivery tailor made for this format---and just enough talk to let listeners know someone was on the other end taking the edge off of their day.

Gawd, Chris, just mentioning the names of these consummate professionals brings a tear to my eye, knowing that we may never ever hear another terrestrial commercial contemporary smooth jazz equivalent to them in our lifetimes!!![]()
Thanks to "The Wav", the pain of the Jones Smooth Jazz loss has been much easier to tolerate, especially considering the "sellout strategy" implemented by Kepler and his BA henchmen!!
