Herald: WTKK won't renew McPhee contract

Am guessing "Happy" formerly of Howie Carr show screened calls. (Howie, in jabs
at Entercom, has said "Happy has gone to a better place"--not heaven, but 96.9.
I get the idea when Happy got laid off he got Marge Eagan or McPhee to get him hired
somewhere at 55 Morrissey...)
 
Heard that too (for a couple minutes). Hank has done news, fill ins, helped anchor
election coverage (Hank Morse btw not Morris). Isn't he also on sister station WKLB?
 
I believe Hank had the morning show on Saturdays (7-10?) before the self help lady got the timeslot. Like him then, like him now.

I wonder if he would be willing to do the 6-10 AND the morning show? Without him, Eagen and Braude are unlistenable to me. I STILL don't know what the heck is going on with Margeries voice. It sounds like there is something in her mouth when she speaks. Disturbing.

Yes, that's why professional radio voices need to come back to talk radio.
 
Eagan and Braude got contract renewal recently

See the radio-info article about changes at WPHT Philly? Michael Smerconish moving to 4-6 pm
with his national show plus a local hour at 3; WTKK runs a best of Smerc on weekends. I wonder
if they may pick up Smerc at least temporarily; Grace Blazer of TKK (still there?) helped Michael
get his start
