Maybe I'm too idealistic, but wouldn't CC's small and medium market competitors be able to capitalize on the non-local approach they look to be moving to? Don't care what business it is...selling is still about being face to face with a local decision maker. If you're doing a good job at what you do and have a relationship with your customer, you ought to, over time, be able to get them to realize that more dollars they spend with you stay in the local economy. "We" put people to work and buy stuff right here. Sounds a bit corny, but in smaller towns...might have some legs, especially in times like now. Then, naturally, be sure you're doing a good job of servicing audience and advertisers. Or doesn't local commitment matter anywhere anymore?
