If you see Micki, ask her if she remembers Bette Dixon. She and Micki were friends and Bette was my boss. WVMX was the follow-up at WRFK when public radio moved to 101.1. It stated as HOt AC and moved to CHR and even had Bob-A-Lou for awhile. They were called MIX-106 and appearantly scared EZ-104 into giving up an excellent AC format to go to hot AC as WMXB. As we all know, 103.7 never recovered and was solidly beaten by Lite 98 who simply picked up the format that EZ-104 abandoned out of fear of the short lived Mix-106. MIx then became Oldies 106 and then the WVGO that lives on in legend and verse.
