What no Thanksgiving songs, like I don't know maybe Harvest Moon, but I know KOJY 98.9 will be November 1.
My 97.5 went Christmas just after mid-night this AM.
You'll need two radios, one tuned to 99.3 and the other to 98.9 to know for sure. Wouldn't surprise me if they both did. Keep an eye on KYNO, didn't they do classic christmas last year?
Now here's the possible twist: 105.5 goes at 11:59 October 31, and KJWL never does. This only happens if One Putt wants to give up on Rewind.
KABX will for sure.
Any radio station that starts broadcasting "Christmas or Holiday" music before Thanksgiving and goes "All Christmas music" except for Christmas eve and Christmas day should have their FCC licenses taken away from them for being the worst kind of business operator. No brains what so ever.
A little bit of sugar might be good on a bowl of cereal or in your morning coffee. A bowl or cup FULL of sugar will only kill you. It will NOT taste better. Stations that Jump on the All Christmas band wagon only end up driving radio ad buyers over
the side of a cliff No one is listening to the sound of a band wagon crashing at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
Tell that to the stations like WBEB and KOST that get double digit shares for the whole season. The audience data shows that there is increased listening from Day One onwards.
