Holy Tejano! SA now has 4 of those stations

Why would anyone lose money on purpose?
The WNBA is very successful at operating at a loss. But your point is still valid. In the grand scheme of things, the WNBA's ultimate purpose is to be a public relations and marketing subsidiary of the NBA. If the WNBA promotes the sport of basketball and corporate social responsibility (gender equality/LGBT issues), then the NBA is happy taking 15+ years of straight "losses".

I can't recall. Corpus or Victoria, I think.

He may have been in several smaller markets since KXTN let him go. I seem to remember he was in San Angelo for a bit.

I'm sure he’s glad to be back in San Antonio, but I can’t imagine he's going to make anywhere near what he made at KXTN working for 95.7.

I did a search and found what I think is the same URL (as the one that gave you a 404 error) but this one worked for me.

I just tried it from my post and it came back with the 404 error but I pulled it from the article so it should have worked. Posting it is changing it (shortening it?) and probably causing the error.

I broke it into three parts, and, if you put the three parts together you should get the article...maybe...

popular-dj-johnny-ramirez-back-in
-booth-with-newly-rebranded-tejano-957-fm/

I tried inputting it in three different sections to make one and it still gave me the 404 error.

Something is blocking or changing it but if you do a search you can find it and read the article.

If you do a search on the sentence:

A popular voice is back on the FM airwaves in San Antonio.

It should be the first choice and you can read the article.

There used to be some type of "formula" (not really a formula but a "standard" or particular way) to post a URL on some boards. I don't remember if it was this board or some other board, but 10 to 20 years ago I used to do it. I think you had to use brackets like this to enclose the URL [ ] and maybe start and end it with a slash / within the brackets to start and stop so it knows how far to read the URL. Maybe someone knows how to do that and maybe it would work on this board for that URL above.

I don't think it was HTML tags but I'll TEST these to see if any of them work here.
I found these notes for HTML but have not found the notes I was looking for posting a URL.

<a>testing blue color</a>
<b>testing bold</b>
<big>testing big text</big>

Nope, those don't work on this board.

San Antonio's largest event is FIESTA. Alpha Media was MIA during the 10-day event. Why? They just launch Tejano 95.7, and this would have been a great opportunity to market their new station for "free." Not only for 95.7 but the entire cluster.

Cox, Univision, and IheartRadio were at several Fiesta events. 98.9 KLMO had a banner at Market Square, which was more than Alpha Media's did.

The next events are Cinco De Mayo and PRIDE in June.

Mix 96.1/96.1 Now has always been in the PRIDE parade. Energy 94.1(KTFM) has been a hit and miss at PRIDE. The last time 94.1 had a presence at PRIDE was 3+ years ago.

98.9/92.1 KLMO might have the second best signal in town with the addition of the 92.1 K221GF translator. The translator holds a CP to move to 100.7, but at the last second KAHL decided not to move thir 100.7 to 107.9. So K221GF probably will have to stay on 92.1.
