Host Predictions For CBS and NBC

CBS will have Boomer and Carton, Sileo, Gottlieb, Ferrall and Sports Babe.

NBC will merge with Yahoo. They'll mix in some NBC talent for specialty and weekend shows.

Do you really think Ferrall will leave xm?

Would CBS consider taking Toucher and Rich out of Boston and making them a national show?
Perhaps they can go national from 6-9am and do a Boston only hour from 9-10am. Just a thought.

Bob Berger is off YSR as of this weekend, I would assume CBS is his destination, since he was typically the only fill-in for Brando that was TV simulcasted.

Yes, Bob Berger was quietly dropped by Gow Broadcasting/YSR. But, from what I hear, he has not been offered a job by CBS and is openly looking for a new gig.

That's a real shame, I always enjoyed him on the weekends, going back over a decade. A calm, rational voice amist lots of sports radio weekend screaming.

they're good, but they're not a sports show. I would be surprised to see them go national on a sports network.

I see James Brown from CBS NFL coverage being a daily host with them, he did a show for years at WTEM in DC.
I used to Produce a show here in Seattle for a guy who produced JB's show as his first job out of college WAY back, he Produced JB and then Kornheiser's show man talk about night and day huh?
I can see JB doing a show and him pairing up with one of the guys from CBS NFL coverage, Cowher maybe, Sharpe maybe?
Even on his own he would be perfect!

-For NBC Sports Radio.-
When I look at each (Yahoo Sports Website) and (NBC Sports) website, both look very almost the same. Do you all agree? or is it just me?
f NBC and Yahoo Sports Radio were to merge, they should put all the new hosts on (LIVE) weekdays and weeknights, and on weekends, put the urrent Yahoo Sports Radio Host on (LIVE-ALL WEEKEND-LIVE!!!!!-Not Taped) put everyone on LIVE 24/7 365

John Feinstein (SiriusXM host; author) and Tom Tolbert (KNBR San Francisco; former NBA player) have been added to the CBS Sports Radio lineup as short-form commentators for the "CBS Sports Minute" along with the previously announced Boomer Esiason (WFAN NYC; former NFL player) and Doug Gottlieb (former ESPN TV/radio host). Gottlieb will have a long-form show in afternoons starting in January 2013.

The "Sports Minutes" start on Tue., September 4th, 2012.
