I was just thinking the same thing.

If they stay the same ( or get better ), I will still love them ( Touch-FM ).Nick said:If Touch 106.1 ended up with a license, would you stop loving that station because it's not a pirate?
Because its part of Boston Radio .kms575 said:Nick said:Why is there a thread celebrating the launch of a pirate station anyway?

There are at least 3 pirate stations that have a bigger coverage area and probably have more listeners than WRBB. That's messed up.radioguybroadcasting said:rapking said:Still part of Boston radio !!!! Like the loan shark is part of "Boston Banking".
Like the guy at the end of the bar taking bets is part of the "Mass Lottery".
Like the guy coming to collect weekly 'protection' money is part of the Boston Police Force.
Now I have it figured out....
Nick said:Less than 4 days till Hot 97.1 "WHOT" goes on the air.
How about getting the FCC to shut them down immediately after they go on the air? Get WTKK to turn off its transmitter 5 minutes before "WHOT" launches, then triangulate Hot 97.1's signal and bust them before they finish saying "we the best". For WTKK, it's worth 10 minutes of being off the air rather than months of interference.
Nick said:This pirate manages to piss off 4 stations...2 of which are not even in Boston!
WTKK 96.9 - Interferes with them ( Good ! I Hate Anger Talk and FM Talk station )
WJMN 94.5 - Competes with their format ( Good ! somebody should compete with 94.5 )
WQHT 97.1 New York - Stole the "Hot 97" name ( I Do not think they care about the Boston radio dial )
WHOT 101.1 Youngstown, OH - Stole the "WHOT" call letters ( Again, I Do not think they care about The Boston radio dial )
We should send emails to all 4 of those stations asking them to complain to the FCC about this pirate ( I am going to enjoy all these Boston pirate stations ! I LOVE PIRATE RADIO ! )
Oh, and check out Hot 97.1 Boston's Facebook page

WRONG ANSWER!!! There is actually more than one HOT 97!!!kms575 said:Nick said:Less than 4 days till Hot 97.1 "WHOT" goes on the air.

I can't wait to hear about its demise! There's only one Hot 97. It's in New York and it's legal.

I know of one in Jackson Mississippi Which is WRJH HOT 97.7 and they are legal. I believe they are a Radio-One affiliate
