I think Mix is safe. Spot too. Only reason I think that MEGA will continue is that they have seen a *pop* in the ratings, we are in a culturally diverse market where that format will always do well, and they do have signal superiority. The wildcard ifs KILT-FM. Which has been largely left to twist in the wind. I think their Facebook had 3 updates this month, and likely only one of them was locally originated. They have one ---ONE--- local personality, and have been told he is tracked most of the time. (He is very good.) What KILT-FM does have going for it is tremendous NTR events and lifestyle oriented things that make it so much money beyond spots. (At least they used to.) Ten Man Jam and Rodeo Houston used to make millions of NTR for them. But, I can't tell you if that is still the case. If they no longer see the value, or they no longer want to make that kind of an investment (because that stuff ain't cheap) then KILT-FM is the odd man out. I will also say that their GM really did immerse herself into the Hispanic culture personally and professionally with MEGA-101. I am sure it has a soft spot in her heart, although I really do not know if she had much in the way of input as to which one will go. I am no a sports fan, but see this as a wise move. You'd think I would be upset to see country go on 100.3, should that be the case. but *my* KILT died years ago.
