when it comes to foul language, why is it that the FCC tends to go after TV way more than it does with radio?
Not talking about Stern, Opie & Anthony, and those shock-jock mornign shows but the other syndicated shws that air in other dayparts and the many local announcers.
Tom Leykus for example uses the word "god-damn" A LOT, at least he did when his show was last heard here and it wasn't all that long ago.
The other weekend I was mowing the lawn, my next door neighbor was working on his car and had the local classic rock station playing from his radio. The jock on the air went on about how he likes to "use poppers", and how he couldn't wait to get home so he could "get off" using baby oil. Oh he also said that he had been "hard all day".
This was on a Saturday afternoon !!!
Whatever happen to just telling us the name of the song that was just played?
