Boy, I remember that station when it was "Kiss 98.5." I'm never been a fan of a lot of Hispanic-related music, but that dance format was top-notch. They played (early) Jennifer Lopez, Sneaker Pimps, Amber, To Kool Chris, etc. On some of their weekend dance shows, they would even sneak in Prodigy and Faithless. This was at the height of the 90's/rave/techno era. Too bad it didn't last :-[
Then, Kiss started to play more mainstream stuff, slowly taking out the dance format until it sounded like a younger-sounding Mix (Matchbox 20, No Doubt). Then they scraped that for disco in 1998, I believe.
