How good does The Arrow do in Houston?

;D johnqdoe is right. Variety is overrated. People don't want it, don't have the time for it. They want to be spoonfed music. Nothing dangerous or edgy. Radio should be a nice safety net. The listeners are asking for predictability. Just listen to any request line or voice mail. You don't have to be brilliant to program a station, it should be fairly formulaic. ::)

I don't work for CC and that is my loss.

Listeners do not want variety? Listeners want to be spoon fed? Listeners do not want edgy, new, or fresh music? Listeners want predictability?

The Listeners are leaving traditional radio in droves... Wake up and smell the exodus! Radiodial has spoken... The Revolution is on! The Listener is no longer bound to tired old playlists! Do a Google search on IPod, ITunes, XM, and internet radio... you obviously are lacking in matters of music mediums.

gee I wish I could spark up this kind of comotion on the SA boards. Of course, they are bound to their mindless playlists on local SA radio. If you think Houston's bad, listen to how cccrrraaappppyyy San Antonio radio is. That's why I got XM, but didn't listen to too much in Houston because I do enjoy several of your stations.

I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic in response to my earlier post.
