Indianapolis How is that 1070 Signal These Days?

IIRC, it's I-65.
Correct.

Walsh had some land in the family where he could have rebuilt the 6 tower array, but Zionsville refused to re-zone the land. I'm not an engineer, but I'm thinking the best Walsh or anyone else could do would be something like 10k day, flea power at night. Not sure it would be worth it.

There's a reason Emmis moved WIBC to FM. There were upscale suburbs excluded from the night pattern.

WFNI only requested and received a 5-month extension on the STA to operate from the Emmis rooftop until January 26, 2026. Could the end (of the STA) be near ?

Heard it over the weekend. Fades up on I-65 a few miles north of the connection to I-465 and is fine within that loop, but not very useful outside of it.

1070 WFNI is back on air, heard today at 11:30AM.

Programming is IDed as Sports 93.5, 107.5 and WFNI.

ESPN is gone and programming is Radio One's sports translator feed from WIBC fm HD2 HD3.
